Pan Fried Trout

A SIMPLE RECIPE THAT GIVES YOU THE TRUE TASTE OF A TROUT

Ingredients

  • trout fillets
  • salt
  • white peper
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • lemons
  • cayenne pepper

Cooking instructions

  • Lightly coat pan with extra virgin oil
  • turn on medium heat
  • brush fillet with light coat of extra virgin olive oil
  • lightly sprinkle fillet on both sides with salt
  • lightly sprinkle fillet on both sides with white pepper
  • very lightly sprinkle fillet on both sides with cayenne pepper
  • place fillet skin down in pan
  • cook until 4 to 5 minutes or until golden brown
  • flip fillet and cook other side for about 3 to 4 minutes
  • cook fillet until center is slightly flakey with the touch of a fork
  • place fillet on a serving plate and squeeze lemon juice over fish
